Join hundreds of people throughout Maine as we gather to celebrate the accomplishments and collective wisdom of Maine women. This year, we’ll unveil the new direction and community promise of the Maine Women’s Fund.
For 18 years, the Maine Women’s Fund has been creating and supporting positive systemic change in Maine by investing in the power of women and the dreams of girls. The Evening to Honor Maine Women & Girls is the Fund’s primary fundraising and awards dinner. This year, we’ll celebrate on:

Tickets start at $45 and a table of eight is $400 and a table of ten is $500.
RECOGNIZING WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP
Linda Greenlaw, Maine’s lobster woman and best selling author is the keynote speaker, and will receive the Sarah Orne Jewett Award. To read more about Linda, click here.
Every year we give two Maine Women’s Fund Awards to women who are working in their community to promote social change for women. This year we will recognize the five finalists who were nominated by women throughout Maine. Come to the event to learn about their exciting work, see who wins and join in the celebration of all women!
FINALISTS ARE:
Betty Fortuin—advocating for women in prison
Deahna Giguere and Thalia Matthews—holding corporations accountable and inspiring other girls to be leaders
Vinitha Nair and Erin Reilly — engaging girls in science, math and technology through games and community
Sarah Standiford — improving public policy for Maine’s women and their families

RECEPTION WITH GRANTEE EXHIBIT
The reception preceding the Evening to Honor Maine Women & Girls offers you a chance to network and learn more about the grantees and corporate partners that are instrumental in the Maine Women’s Fund’s work. This year, we will premier Grantee Stories, a series of photo montages created by nonprofits. Nonprofits and businesses who want to reach women are invited to exhibit at the reception.
